    We used this monocular during a recent trip to Colorado for wild life viewing and taking pictures. We mounted it in tripod. Easy to use durable and the ability to crisply see wildlife at 250 or so feet was great.

    If you don't want to invest in a fancy camera, this is excellent for hobby photography! It exceeded my expectations! The only thing to note is it's heavy & you definitely need a tripod to use comfortably & hold steady. I played around with it as I wait for a tripod to ship and I'm loving the photos I'm able to take!

    I've never tried a monocular before, but I have problems with my eyes not focusing equally and that makes it very difficult for using regular binoculars. I placed it on a tri-pod so I don't have to touch it while viewing the local wild bunnies and squirrels, which keeps it steady and makes viewing much clearer. It focuses nicely and does bring objects in clearly. I added a small tether strap to the eye lens cover so it won't get lost. I have not tried the phone holder.

    A nice telescope with great clarity and compact size. This monocular focuses easily and has a nice field of view. It does need a tripod as at 12x it is a challenge to hold it with no shake. It is made with high density glass so it has a certain heft to it that helps to hold it still. I am happy with my purchase.

    I got this product in preparation for a African Safari trip and have been learning to use it along with a cell phone photo adapter and remote trigger. There is a bit of a learning curve so practice beforehand is important. I've just returned from my Safari and the product was very useful.

    I was looking for a good, compact, high power monocular, I had to give it a try.My first impression was of the impressive light gathering capacity of the 50mm ocular. The image is bright, sharp and clear right out to the edges. It's easy to align your eye with the image. The tight smoothness of the focusing mechanism is first rate. This is really a solid useful product.

    Everyone that has used it has commented on how handy and clear it is and just enough not to drag out the big spotter! I have taken some great nature pictures, but mostly use for bird pics. I use this with a tripod ..

    Works fantastic for getting that close up shot on my android. I love it!! Unfortunately, when I was connecting the provided cell phone adapter to the monocular, I broke the part that attaches it to the lens. I was having a hard time getting it to stay attached to the monocular and overtightened it which broke off one of the inner pieces that is responsible for holding the adapter securely to it. It still works though and I've managed to capture some really great pictures with just my android
